As an artist I'm always open to trying new materials to create with.

LOCAL MATERIALS

Over the years I have enjoyed working with natural plant material that is readily available locally. In this gallery are one-of-a-kind creations using such material as birch bark, spruce root, cedar, cattails, and red-osier dogwood.

GOURDS

Gourds have been used by mankind for thousands of years. Experts believe they originated in Africa and during prehistoric times, when the earth was warmer, they grew all over the planet. Man has utilized gourds for storage containers, utensils, musical instruments, masks, and much more.

Thank-you for taking the time to visit my art creations.
