IMAGE LICENSINGIf you want to find out about our fine art prints, please go to About the Prints About Image LicensingThis involves licensing the rights to use pre-existing stock photographic or other images for everything from greeting cards to billboards to web pages. In general, the licensing is priced based on the value you, the client, receive from using our images. Here at OneSparrow Images, we take great pleasure in offering you images from the mountains of Western Canada. Our collection is growing, with new images being added regularly. We supply premium-quality images for commercial advertising, editorial and design purposes, ranging from small business brochure content to major corporate advertising use. Each use will have its own specific terms and conditions specified, ranging from short duration to multi-year duration, small sized images to large sized images, etc. We have a record of the use of each image in our stock photography library, and can provide exclusive rights. No images are in the Public Domain or "Royalty-Free", ensuring you of the originality of the images. |

Our stock image licensing fees are based on published industry standards, which vary depending on the intended use, market, size of the image used, the rights desired, press run and duration of use. In other words, how big, how often, and for how long will the image be seen. For example, a image used on the cover of a national monthly magazine will have a greater fee than a small image used for a year on a web page of a small business. Other factors that affect the licensing fee is the type of usage itself (editorial, corporate, advertising, product) as well as any exclusivity required (i.e., a calendar publisher would not want the same image to appear in competitor's calendars in the same year.) As there are so many possible image uses, each with its particular details, it is difficult to create a comprehensive "price list". The below sample prices are for one-time non-exclusive rights in a single publication. These prices are for minimum use levels and small image sizes (for example, 1/8 page of a magazine or brochure) unless otherwise stated, with larger uses and image sizes usually costing more. Prices are listed in Canadian dollars, do not include taxes, and are subject to change without notice. Fees per image may decrease if more than one image is licensed per project. As these are sample prices only, we will work with you to determine the exact requirements and actual pricing for your project needs. Please see the below How to Order section. In most cases, the minimum stock image licensing fee will be $75. Many uses typically run $200 to $1,000 although fees can be significantly higher. A 10 percent reduction in licensing fee wil be granted if a credit line is placed with the image.
